About this trip

Peperpot Nature Park is a former coffee and cocoa plantation that has been returned to secondary rainforest, now operating as a 700-hectare protected nature reserve approximately 30 minutes from Paramaribo. The site combines colonial agricultural history (founded 17th century) with substantial biodiversity, over 200 bird species, multiple monkey species, sloths and a healthy population of forest mammals.

Tours operate as either daytime (focus on birdlife and primates) or evening and night walks (focus on nocturnal mammals, frogs and insects). Both options are guided.
